MA SJHR Coursework

My courses in the MA SJHR program helped me gain the knowledge I needed to examine how the Mormon Church has created an environment that actively marginalizes groups of people. In this Capstone, I pull coursework from two courses: Proseminar in Social Justice and Human Rights and Critical Humanitarianism.

In addition to the courses that introduced theories and concepts surrounding social justice and human rights, the MA SJHR program provided me with the tools I needed to conduct my own research through two research courses: Research Methods and Action Research.
